These candles contain Citronella and should not be burned inside. The citronella content is not as strong as some candles used for camping, so we can't guarantee 100% expulsion of those dastardly biting bugs.
At first I thought the smell would be too much , but once you light it , it’s so soothing. The bamboo wick also lasts long and protects it from the wind blowing it out. Smells like a party outside!

I ordered the ‘Party at the Pit’ citronella candle for the summer and the fragrance is just as wonderfully addictive as last summer when it debuted!! The new container is ADORABLE, true? AND it comes with a lid, so it can be covered after you turn the candle off!! It has a sturdy new wick made of wood, so the wind is less likely to blow it out. If ‘Party at the Pit’ came as a regular candle, I’d buy that one as well!!!
This candle smells so good, I'm struggling not to burn it inside rather than saving it for outside deck nights!
Love this product. The container is cool. The combination of orange, whiskey and citronella is very pleasant.
So, my candle came yesterday (Saturday) and I have never opened a box faster in my life, I was so excited!! I took the candle onto my terrace, opened it and put it right to my nose!!! The first thing I smelled was the orange and the citronella, so I lit it and waited for the “ta-da!” I was NOT disappointed!!! My sister was over and she said “it smells DELICIOUS!!” The scent of the whiskey is very subtle, but very smooth. My sister enjoys whiskey and said “a good whiskey is always smooth!” Nalana, you have done it again!!! I’ll be buying a few more of these before the summer is over!!
